MVP Programs
At MVP, our baseball/softball
program is state-of-the-art. With the hands-on training and guidance of our highly trained, professional coaches, students
begin by learning the basics of baseball/softball using simple drills and visual/tactile learning systems.
The Mental
Side
At MVP, we believe that children need to be given the opportunity to learn and incorporate mental themes into
all levels of training, whether on the field, at home, or at school. The very first day of MVP training begins with a lesson
on respect: learning to demonstrate respect for peers, coaches, parents and teachers. Methods of practice are continually
taught and reinforced for all of our mental themes. Theses include:
Goal-Setting Perseverance
Self-Esteem Confidence Respect Dedication Self-Control Integrity Self-Improvement
Courtesy
Level One-beginner students. The beginning student learns the basics of equipment, stances, swings,
fielding, throwing, and pitches. Drills are simple and the focus is on developing good technique and having FUN!
Level
Two-intermediate students. The intermediate student emphasizes good techniques of all previous materials, more complex batting
and fielding drills, determination, and FUN!
Level Three-advanced students. The advanced student trains extensively
on perfection of techniques, mentoring beginning students, and progressively higher goal-setting strategies. Advanced students
are eligible to attend special training camps and become student-instructors (with the recommendation of their coaches/instructors).
At MVP, we realize that each student has different physical abilities and potential. By emphasizing strong foundational
skills, our students enhance their physical capabilities and nurture self-esteem through self-improvement. We set specific,
individual, and challenging goals and help our students reach their full potential. At MVP, we believe the keys to success,
on and off the field, are patience, focus, hard work and setting goals.
