Coached softball since 1988.
Coached travel softball since 1996 (12U through Womans Level)
Coached High School for Marian Central from 1998-2001.

Sophomore Coach for Harvard High School 2006 to 2009.

Currently Varsity Coach for Harvard High School.

Head Coach for Team USA 2009 - 2010

Team USA participated in International event in Orlando, Florida, taking 2nd place.  

Has taught pitching, hitting, catching and fielding lessons since 1996.

Has taken teams to National competitions:

Rockford, Illinois (AFA and ASA)1998

Orlando, Florida (F.A.S.T.) 1999-2004,  2006-2010

Los Angeles, California (ASA) 2005.

Founded McHenry County Heatwave Travel Softball Organization in 1996.
Director, McHenry County Heatwave from 1996 to Present
Head Coach McHenry County Heatwave 18U Black at present time.
Has coached Heatwave teams since 1996 ranging from 12U to Women's Level.

Matt Schacht- Catching and Hitting Instructor

Matt has coached softball since 1989. He has not only done private and group lessons, but has also coached teams from the recreational level to the travel level, from ages 12 through 18.

Matt is ASEP certified and a member of the National FastPitch Coaches Association. He is also an IHSA Certified Umpire since 2003.

Has attended Clinics held by National Fastpitch Association, as well as the TPS Coaches Camp.

Matt conducts clinics in catching, hitting, bunting, slapping, and dragging. He is also available to do private lessons.

 

Andrea Weathersby- Pitching, Hitting and Fielding Instructor
Andrea has been teaching private and group lessons for pitching, hitting and fielding since 2004.
Andrea is a graduate of McHenry West High School, and played High School Ball at the Varsity Level at both McHenry and Marian Central Catholic High School.
She continued playing softball at MCC from 2004-2006, pitching and playing 1st base for the team. She was named 1st Team All Conference while at MCC.
Andrea played at the Travel Level from 1996 through 2005 playing at the Woman's level competing in National Competition every year.
She has been a member of the National Federation of Coaches Association since 2005.
After graduation from College she took a position as a High School Teacher at Harvard District #50.
Andrea is the Assistant Coach of Team Illinois and Team USA 2009-2010.
Freshman Coach for Harvard High School 2009- Present.
